There are so many new and exciting changes for the 2020 Navigator that it is hard to know where to start. The Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced safety features is now standard on all trim levels. Also, new and standard across all trim levels is the Phone as a Key feature. With this, you can use your phone to lock or unlock the vehicle, pop the tailgate, and even start and drive your Navigator without having your key fob.
That's just the beginning of the new standard features. You get a wireless charging pad, heated and ventilated front seats, and power running boards. You also get three new exterior paint color options for the Reserve trim. They are Ceramic Pearl, Pristine White, and Infinite Black.
Those shopping for the new Navigator have two well-equipped trim levels to choose from. They are known as the Base, and Reserve. On top of the standard features mentioned above, you also get LED headlights, a 14-speaker audio system, 10" touchscreen, tri-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, and more. Moving up to the Reserve trim will give you a panoramic sunroof as well as the option of second-row captain's chairs.
Each of the two trims is powered by the same 3.5L V6 engine. This provides you with 450-horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Working with this engine in perfect harmony is a ten-speed automatic transmission. All models have rear-wheel-drive as their standard drivetrain with the option of upgrading to all-wheel-drive. The Reserve trim level gives you the option of adding the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package. This brings your towing capability up to a very impressive 8,600 pounds.
Coming in the Co-Pilot 360 package on all trims are lane-keeping assist, high beam assist, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and automated emergency braking. Moving up to the Reserve trim level will give you adaptive cruise control as well as an advanced surround-view camera.
