Today’s Lincoln vehicles are the culmination of decades of technological advancements, and many models are available with the innovative BlueCruise hands-free driving system. In fact, in 2024, more Lincoln models will be equipped with this hardware. The new Lincoln models that are available with BlueCruise are the Nautilus, the Corsair, and the Navigator. Drivers have the option of activating the hardware immediately after the 3-month free trial or at any time in the future. Drivers can choose from various subscription periods from a month up to four years long.
The BlueCruise hands-free driving system enables the vehicle to drive hands-free on select highways. BlueCruise manages the vehicle’s steering, braking, and accelerating functions. At the same time, a driver-facing camera monitors the driver to ensure that his or her eyes remain focused on the road. If the monitor detects that the driver is not paying attention, an alert will sound. The technology is only functional along designated Blue Zones. The driver can clearly see when the vehicle is in a designated Blue Zone through an indicator on the dashboard. An indicator will also tell the driver when it is safe to let go of the wheel and when the driver needs to resume control.
At Camelback Lincoln, we are excited to demonstrate BlueCruise hands-free driving to you. Contact us today to learn more about our current vehicles and to request a test drive.
