Specs at a Glance

The 2021 Lincoln Aviator is about as stylish and sophisticated as a luxury SUV gets. The Aviator gets only slight changes this year, including some adjustments to optional features and packages for its appearance. Otherwise, the Aviator carries over primarily the same as 2020. The Aviator still excels in key areas, including its powerful base turbo engine capable of 400 HP and its superior ride quality and comfort. Two trim levels to consider for the Aviator are the Reserve, the second trim level, and the Black Label Grand Touring at the top of the line. The Reserve adds more features than the base model for a more tech-savvy and luxurious cabin. The Black Label Grand Touring has more power and even more creature comforts.

Performance

The Reserve and Black Label Grand Touring trim levels have the same transmission but different engines. With the Reserve trim level comes a standard 3.0L V6 engine with a power output reaching 400 HP at the most and a torque capacity of 415 LB-FT. Rear-wheel drive is the Reserve's standard drivetrain, but all-wheel drive is optional. All-wheel drive is standard on the Black Label Grand Touring, which also has an upgraded engine with a hybrid system. The Black Label Grand Touring gets its power from a turbo 3.0L V6 engine with a greater power output of 494 HP. This engine produces a substantial 630 LB-FT in torque. A 10-speed transmission is standard on both trim levels.

Appearance

A glamorous exterior characterizes both the Reserve and Black Label Grand Touring. The Reserve has LED headlights, a power liftgate, and roof rails. An adaptive air suspension is available, and you can also get heated windshield wipers along with sunshades in the back windows. With the Black Label Grand Touring comes a suave black exterior paint color, turn-adaptive headlights, and impressive 22-inch wheels.

Features

The Reserve builds on the long list of features included on the base trim. The Reserve adds captain's chairs in the second row, but the bench-style seat is still optional. Four zones of climate control are standard, and the cabin gets decorative ambient interior lighting. The seating material is upgraded to premium leather upholstery. A 14-speaker audio system comes with this trim. The Black Label Grand Touring has a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and 30-way adjustable seats, along with a multitude of safety equipment.
