  For the last 38 years, Dianne Craig has worked hard for the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company. Her stretch as President of Lincoln began at the end of 2022 and included several noteworthy accomplishments over the years. For example, Lincoln's incredible Nautilus was launched during Craig's time at the helm of Lincoln.
Dianne Craig Retires after 38 years
During a career that spanned almost four decades, Craig managed to leave her mark on the automotive industry in general and the Ford Motor Company Lincoln division in particular. How much of an impact did she have? Lincoln reports that after Craig took the reigns, Lincoln experienced its best sales in 17 years and expanded its reach in China.
Jim Farley, the President and CEO of Ford, says of Dianne, "Dianne's leadership of Lincoln has been exceptional, with solid profits and sales. Throughout her distinguished career, Dianne's outstanding results can be linked to positive leadership, working relationships, and especially her love and respect for our dealer partners."
Dianne Craig was with Ford even before she became the President of Lincoln, and the Ford Motor Company benefited greatly from her presence. She was formerly president of Ford of Canada, worked in sales and marketing, and also served as the president of the International Markets group before taking over as president for Lincoln.
After a stellar career, Dianne Craig said of her time with Ford, "I am deeply grateful for the incredible journey and wealth of experiences gained during my career with Ford. Starting at Lincoln and concluding my career leading the revitalization of the global Lincoln business has truly been an hour." Craig also gives shout-outs to the many teams she worked with and the people she encountered during her career.
A new president of Lincoln will soon step in. Joaquin Nuno-Whelan assumes leadership for the Lincoln brand on May 1st. People are sad to see Craig retire, but they're also excited about the new changes ahead. Ford CMO Lisa Materazzo says, "With Joaquin's deep product knowledge and his experience in luxury vehicle development, he will play a critical role in guiding the evolution of the Lincoln brand and its next-generation global product portfolio and connected experiences."
