What's New For the 2020 Lincoln Aviator?

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator offers plenty of cargo and passenger room in addition to elegance and technologically advanced systems. It comes standard with a twin-turbo powertrain, giving it the oomph it needs to conquer any terrain, and the camera-based adaptive suspension system can ensure a smooth ride. On the exterior, the SUV has a relaxed, streamlined shape, which was partly inspired by classic planes and postwar European cars. On the inside of the cabin, drivers and their passengers can enjoy wireless charging and take advantage of the Wi-Fi hotspot and 12.3-inch LCD screen. The new DLP heads-up display lets drivers see information even through polarized sunglasses. Overall, the Aviator comes back to the market with aesthetic nods to the past and forward-thinking technological design.

Which Trims & Features are Available on the 2020 Lincoln Aviator?

There are two versions of the Aviator to choose from. The standard model comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-Liter V6 engine. An alternative is a plug-in hybrid. In the hybrid, you can select to drive in all-gas or all-electric modes or a combination of the two. It's anticipated that the electric battery will be able to fully charge in a few hours.

The SUV is packed with advanced features, such as the Air Glide air suspension system. This system allows the vehicle to adjust its height according to your needs. There are high-speed driving, normal, and off-road settings, and you can set up your SUV to "kneel" when you walk up to it. An optional package comes with Road Preview. This is a system in which the SUV's cameras will scan what's coming up and pre-adjust the damping as necessary.

Both models come with "Phone As A Key" capabilities. You can program your smartphone to work as a key fob so that you can leave your actual fob at home. To have someone else enter the vehicle, you can provide the code to the keypad on the driver's door that's been a staple for the Lincoln brand.

To enhance your peace of mind, there are even more available options.

The Traffic Jam Assist system takes cruise control to a new level, allowing for stop-and-go movement that you so frequently see during rush hour. The SUV can also automatically adjust itself in a lane and adjust speed according to the speed limit signs that it can recognize.
