Specs at a Glance
2023 Lincoln Navigator Standard vs 2023 Lincoln Navigator Reserve LLincoln's Navigator is built to provide customers with a mobile sanctuary that follows them wherever they dare to roam. It gets a few big upgrades this year and more modern refinement to meet the needs of the family who wants it all. The model's Standard and Reserve L trims offer the same luxurious outlook on life, just on different levels.
Performance
The Standard and Reserve L comes with a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine that's paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. With a starting point like that, power is standard on both. You'll enjoy the 440-horsepower performance on either the Standard or Reserve L. Your performance will vary a bit on both models, though. The Standard trim comes with 20-inch 12-spoke bright-machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets, and the Reserve L boasts 22-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels with premium painted pockets. The Reserve L also adds more optional handling features. Pick up Pro-Trailer Backup Assist or Electronic Traction Assist on the Reserve L trim.
Appearance
The biggest difference in appearance comes from the Reserve L's longer wheelbase. This creates a long longer, leaner look than the Standard trim. Both models get power-deployable running boards, but the Reserve L's running boards are illuminated for extra elegance. If you're determined to add the panoramic Vista roof to your Navigator, the Standard offers it, but you'll get this feature standard on a Reserve L trim. These differences blend in perfectly with the patented design of the Lincoln Navigator. Both models show off chrome roof rack side rails, a body-colored rear spoiler, and LED Lincoln signature lighting. This is a model that's built with the just-right luxury that never feels forced or over the top.
Features
All the staples of a luxury Lincoln are inside both trims: Tri-Zone climate control, authentic wood accents, and ambient lighting. The Reserve L adds features like a Revel Ultima 3D audio system, perfect position front seats, and massaging second-row captain's chairs for an extra thrilling interior. You can grab a second-row floor console with a 5.8-inch touchscreen on the Reserve L. Safety is superb on both trims, including post-collision braking, forward collision warning,, and dynamic braking support.
