Specs at a Glance
If you're in the market for a new luxury SUV, don't miss out on Lincoln's latest lineup. While the two-row Nautilus is a perfect fit for most families, folks who need extra passenger and cargo space should consider the three-row Aviator. Here's a closer look at how these two models compare.
Performance
Whether you choose the 2023 Lincoln Aviator or the 2023 Lincoln Nautilus, you can look forward to enjoying a strong performance. The smaller Nautilus comes standard with a 2.0-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. Output is a competitive 250 horsepower. Buyers can upgrade to a 2.7-liter, EcoBoost V6 engine. Lincoln rates it to squeeze out a more muscular 335 horsepower. While front-wheel drive comes standard, an Intelligent all-wheel-drive system is optional.
Motivating the Aviator is a 3.0-liter, EcoBoost V6 engine with 400 horsepower. However, Lincoln does offer an available plug-in hybrid powertrain. It manages to push out a stout 494 horsepower. As expected, the rear-wheel-drive Aviator can also be equipped with an Intelligent all-wheel-drive system. Keep in mind that the Aviator is rated to tow up to 6,700 pounds, thus making it the best choice for pulling trailers and boats. Meanwhile, an available Air Glide Suspension takes ride comfort to the next level.
Appearance
Both of these SUVs have a head-turning design. Like the Aviator, the Nautilus features a signature Lincoln grille and modern LED headlights. On the Aviator's list of options is a breathtaking Jet Appearance package. It features a stunning set of 22-inch black alloy wheels and blacked-out exterior touches. Meanwhile, a cool-looking Monochromatic Package is available for the Nautilus. Aside from unique 20-inch black alloy wheels, this dramatic package also brings a body-color grille.
Features
Several premium features are available for the Nautilus. Its user-friendly SYNC 4 infotainment system provides a beautiful 13.2-inch touchscreen, ranking among the segment's largest standard displays. Other standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0 safety technologies. High-end amenities like Ultra Comfort Seats with Active Motion Massage are also available.
The Aviator is just as upscale. It gives you access to even more exclusive upgrades. Some highlights include a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D premium sound system, four-zone automatic climate control, and a head-up display.
