2023 Lincoln Aviator Reserve vs. 2023 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is a midsize three-row SUV that is both luxurious and practical. It provides ample space for both passengers and gear as well as the latest in technology features. To make sure that drivers can get the performance and features they are after, the 2023 Aviator is available in several trims. Let's take a look at what sets the popular Reserve and Grand Touring models apart.

Performance

One major difference when comparing these two versions of the Aviator is what is underneath the hood. The Reserve model is home to a turbocharged 3.0L engine that produces 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard, and the Reserve also comes equipped with rear-wheel drive. It is also available with all-wheel drive if desired.

The Aviator Grand Touring is given a plug-in hybrid powertrain that generates 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. It sticks with the 10-speed automatic transmission, but all-wheel drive comes standard.

Appearance

Exterior features for the 2023 Aviator Reserve include stunning 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Grand Touring model is similar in appearance, but it goes up to 21-inch wheels instead. If you want a bolder look for your Aviator, the Reserve model offers an appearance package that comes with 22-inch black-painted wheels and other black exterior accents.

Features

Both versions of the 2023 Aviator are loaded with features. Standard equipment for the Aviator Reserve includes leather upholstery, four-zone automatic climate control, wireless device charging, and a 14-speaker sound system. There are also plenty of advanced safety features, such as a surround-view camera system and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Stepping up to the Grand Touring trim level will mean gaining standard all-wheel drive. Otherwise, the standard equipment stays very similar.
