Specs at a Glance
The 2022 Lincoln Navigator is the largest SUV in Lincoln's lineup. Not only does the full-size Navigator provide ample passenger and cargo space, but it also boasts one of the highest tow ratings in the class. Furthermore, several premium luxury features are available. Here's a look at how the Navigator Standard compares to the Navigator Black Label.
Performance
Both of these Navigator trims come equipped with a mighty 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. It's rated to churn out 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed SelectShift helps the engine to operate in its sweet spot. This means drivers can always look forward to experiencing peak performance. With a maximum tow rating of 8,300 pounds, the truck-based Navigator is built to handle a serious big load. To ensure superior handling and ride comfort, Lincoln has recently updated the Navigator's adaptive suspension with Road Preview technology. Keep in mind that only the Black Label trim receives a 4X4 system as standard equipment.
Appearance
The 2022 Lincoln Navigator has a bold look that causes heads to turn. A striking grille and signature LED headlamps to help give the Standard trim an eye-catching appearance. Stylish 3D taillights are found on the rear. While 20-inch alloy wheels come standard, exclusive 22-inch wheels set apart the range-topping Black Label trim. A Special Edition package is also on the Black Label trim's list of options, which adds a number of blacked-out exterior treatments.
Features
Although the Navigator Standard may be the lineup's base model, it doesn't sacrifice much luxury. Technology lovers will enjoy using the SUV's new SYNC 4 infotainment system, which features a massive 13.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Front and second-row passengers can enjoy heated/ventilated seats. Meanwhile, Active Park Assist 2.0 enables the SUV to essentially parallel park itself. Other niceties include a 14-speaker Revel premium audio system, a fully digital gauge cluster, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and a hands-free liftgate.
Lincoln designed the Navigator Black Label to offer a more upscale driving experience. Its 30-way Perfect Position front seats with Active Motion enable you to enjoy an especially relaxing drive. A 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system and an advanced ActiveGlide cruise control system also come equipped with the Black Label trim.
